Black Belt Certification

Black Belt training involves problem solving, learning and applying statistical tools, and completion of a project.  Personnel that complete the Black Belt training are a valuable asset for any organization and a long-term investment. It is important to engage Black Belts in follow-on projects as coaching and mentoring of others is crucial in maintaining their skills and knowledge. The Six Sigma tools are contained within a five-step process known as DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control).  Some Six Sigma tools slightly overlap with the Lean tools but, most expand considerably beyond.  Define/Chartering and Control are the most common.
